So, Trenton started preschool this year and I am not so sure about it. I decided I would wait a year for Kindergarten and boy am I glad. He is always making up excuses as to why he can't go. One morning he came into the bathroom and sat on the stool while I was taking a shower and said, "Mom, I can't go to school today because my arm hurts, my legs hurt, my tummy hurts, everything just hurts." Nice try. Another day he told his teacher that he wasn't going to be there the next day because he was going to be throwing up. He is getting pretty good at the excuses.
Emma goes with him and every morning she is pushing me out the door telling me to leave. She loves going to "school". My little man just likes to be at home. He really likes to be outside working with his daddy. When he gets home from school I try and ask him about his day and usually get the same response, "I don't remember, or I only learn at school." I hope some things change before next year.
I have been extremely lazy today. I didn't even put makeup on or do my hair. I did shower though. I usually don't have very many days like this, but it is cold outside and I felt like being lazy. I even took a nap with little miss Emma.
Jared is so sweet, he added on some concrete to our patio that I had wanted done. We are also going thru a little remodel project. We are replacing our gas fireplace with a wood stove, and adding a backsplash to the kitchen. This is all suppose to be done before Thanksgiving is hosted at our house. Do you think we are going to make it?

oh my Trent is so funny. Kira is the exact opposite, she has preschool twice a week and on her off days she is wishing she could go. I imagine my Joshy will be more like Trent.
Your kitchen is beautiful. I'd love to come to your house someday.
Can't wait to come see you soon hopefully. (: It is all going to be gorgeous! And, how fun to be the Thanksgiving Hostess...hopefully we'll see some of your family while they're here. How fun! We'll be staying here and my family will be going to Utah for the first time I can remember. So we'll be doing it with Z's family which I always love too. Call me when you're bored and I'll come hang out or we can go run errands or something!
I would love to hear some of Trent's excuses. Maybe you need to think about home schooling Trent. He would probably do all his work quickly so he could get outside to work. What a boy! And little Emma can look forward to school, just like Taiylor.
