So, it was my Birthday on the 20th. Jared said he already had my birthday planned around Christmas time. I was somewhat surprised. We went to church and then Becky was coming out to watch the kids around 4:00. Jared had a box put together with a blanket, gloves, hat, camera, and hot chocolate mug. He also told me to dress warm. We drove up to Bogus Basin and a sleigh was waiting for us. It was awesome. We rode the sleigh pulled by three large horses about 20 minutes to a little cabin in the woods. Waiting for us was a nice warm fire and dinner. The two drivers were also our waiters. There were 56 people in the cabin. We sat on large picnic tables. Our dinner was soup in bread bowls, filet mignon, prawns, new potatoes, corn and berry crisp. It was an awesome night. They also brought me a birthday tater with a candle in it.
What a sweet husband I have. He always pulls through and does the sweetest things for me. I am very grateful for him. He is such a hard worker and provider for our family.

SNOW DAY!
It snowed all day on Tuesday. It was really pretty. Driving home from work wasn't that fun. When I was on my way to pick up the kids, I saw five or six horses running in a field of snow. It was so pretty. I wish I would of had my camera. When we got home, the kids and I played in the snow and built a snowman. Here is our masterpiece.

COOKIES
Trenton and I had fun today. He wanted to help me make cookies so we made COWBOY cookies. He helped pour all of the ingredients in. He even cracked the eggs. He is a special boy. I can't believe he is 4 1/2. He wanted to surprise Sis when she got home from school with special cookies that he had made.

GROWING UP
We had a nice day at church today. We switched back to 9:00 a.m. We really like this schedule because we get out at noon and get to nap. We are getting really excited for Nans to come and visit. The kids love it when she comes.
I bought a "big girl" bed for Emma off of craigslist and we set it up today. It is so weird not to have a crib in the house. This is the longest I have gone in between kids without another baby on the way. I hope I don't start getting baby fever. I had pretty much decided Emma was our last one.
On January 2nd, I got up and worked out, then got all three kids ready to go, and Taiylor and I headed for school. When we got there, we were the only ones there. The sign said "kids go back to school January 3rd." I told Taiylor, "sorry your Mother is losing her mind!." As sweet as she is she didn't mind. She got to have a daddy/daughter day.
Well, I hope everyone has a great week.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Well, another year has gone by. My New Years goal, like every year, is to try and get in shape and be healthy. I have challenged myself to get up every morning at 5:30 and go running. Now that I have told everyone, I guess I better do it. Tomorrow is my first day.
Spencer and Jamie stayed with us on December 29th. We had such a great time. We didn't really do much but hang out, but it was so fun to see the kids play together. Jared and Spence watched the UFC fight and we were all disappointed by the Chuck Liddell and Matt Hughes fight.
Emma and Katelyn were so cute together. After they got use to each other they played babies together. Between all the kids I think they got every toy out. But, I didn't care because they were having so much fun togetherIt makes me miss my brothers so much when I am around them. I wish we lived closer to everyone. Another goal I have this year is to keep in touch with everyone better.
Spencer and Jamie, we loved having you stay with us. Sam and Joy, I think you guys are next!! Love you all.

Sledding trip
We went sledding the day after Christmas. We were getting cooped up in the house, so it was good to get out. We even took our two dogs, Danner and Thor. Trenton loved flying down the hill by himself. He would lean back so he was basically laying down and laugh all the way down. Emma was dying to go so she got in with Taiylor and they ended up falling out and she scratched her face so she decided she would just stay on the 4-wheeler with dad. I really love it when we do things together as a family. It was really cold out so we decide to come home and have hot chocolate.

I am new to blogging, so it may take me awhile to get the hang of it. I wanted to find an easy way for me to keep in touch with family and friends, and also a way for me to scrapbook the easy way. I hate scrapbooking, so I thought this would be a good way of preserving some memories. So, here goes.
Jared and I have been married for 8 years in May 2008. We have 3 kids, Taiylor 7 in February, Trenton 4 1/2, and little Emma 2 on January 26, 2008. We have lived in New Plymouth for 3 years now. Jared is partners with his dad on Myers Dairy. I started working part-time this past year at a dental office. It is a nice way to get out and earn a little extra money.
Taiylor is in first grade and is a great student. She really loves learning. She is such a sweet girl. She is such a huge help with Emma. I think Emma considers her her second mother. Taiylor was in Tavaci this fall (a singing/drama group).
Trenton is getting ready to go to pre-school. He loves going to work with his dad and papa. He can tell you all about what goes on on the farm. He loves it. He also loves wrestling. Jared coaches wrestling for the high school and Trenton goes with him a lot of the time to practice. He even has his own singlet.
Emma is our little sweetheart. It is hard to believe she is almost two. She tries to keep up with her siblings. Her favorite thing is playing with her babies. I guess I should say her most favorite thing is her thumb and her silky be-be(blanket). I am going to have a tough time getting that away from her.
