Winter Trip to McCall 2011

We decided to take a little overnight trip to McCall. We stayed at the BestWestern. The kids always think it is pretty fun to stay in a Hotel. I do too. I unfortunately didn't get very many pictures of our trip. We swam in the pool, soaked in the hot tub, visited with friends and just enjoyed being away from home for a day. Our good friends, Blane and Tara Coburn met us at the hotel and we visited for awhile and then went and ate lunch together.

We went to the tubing hill and the kids and I loved it. Cael couldn't go so Jared stayed on the sidelines with him.

We drove around Mccall and it was so pretty. I love McCall in the winter. The snow covered trees are just breathtaking.

Funny Kids

All I can say is this boy is creative. I am still trying to decide why he decided to tape his jaw. P.s Trent just told me why he taped his jaw...he was pretending that he broke his jaw.

Cael playing in the dress-up clothes.

"I promise Mom, I am big enough to carry Cael."

Taiylor plays Basketball

Taiylor decided to try out Basketball for the first time. We went to Fred Meyer and got her a brand new pair of black Nike basketball shoes. She was pretty excited. She did a really good job. Her team wasn't the best but she always tries really hard at whatever she does. All of her teammates really like her. Most of the  girls had played before so Taiylor felt a little intimidated but she did so GOOD.

Emma turns 5

Emma is such a sweet little girl.  She has been a joy to have in our home for the last 5 years.  She definitely adds a spark to our home.  Here are a few pics from a photo shoot her and I did.

We had a fun little family party.  Tyler, Holli, Ethan and Sam, Papa and Kristen Myers, and Great Grandma and Grandpa Myers came over.

Mommy loves her little Emma LuJean.  She loves playing with Barbies, Little Pet Shop, House, Kitchen.  Most of all she loves her Daddy.

Trip to Phoenix, Arizona

Jared and I were able to travel to Phoenix, Arizona for a DFA YC meeting. We took little Cael with us because he was only 7 months old and still nursing. The weather was beautiful. It was so nice to be in warm weather. When we left home it was very cold.  We have gotten to know quite a few couples involved with DFA over the last couple of years. So, it was nice to reconnect with some of them.  We got to visit three different dairy operations while we were there.  It was very interesting.  There were some nice, big places.

We walked around Phoenix with a group of people and Jared couldn't resist taking a picture of this little shop

Christmas 2010

What a wonderful Christmas we had. I love this time of year and am so thankful we are able to provide our kids with a Christmas. I love to sit by the tree after Santa comes and just marvel at how blessed we are. I get so excited, I can hardly wait until the kids get up.

Taiylor got what she has been asking for for about 3 years now....an overhead projector...a real one like they use at school. I searched on the interenet and craigslist and just couldn't find one for a reasonable price. I decided I would try the school. So, I asked Mrs Smith (she is our neighbor and was Taiylor's 4th grade teacher) if they ever get rid of any old projectors and where I could find one. Anyway, she ended up talking to Mrs Aguas, the principal and they gave one to me. Mrs Smith kept it at her house until Christmas Eve. How awesome is that. Taiylor was so excited when she saw it. She said, "I can't wait to play school." Their are some kind people in our community. .
Santa brought Trenton a pellet gun and a nice warm camo coat
Santa brought Emma a pretty pink kitchen with a shopping cart full of groceries.
Cael was sleepy, but he had to be part of the family so we woke him up to join in. He was a little sleepy.
Jared and Trenton got new sleeping bags and had to try them out.
Nans handmade the older kids pajamas...which are adorable. They are going to remember and keep them for years. They love their nans and pops.
